How to Keep Your Goggles from Fogging

There is nothing more annoying than having your goggles constantly fogging up. Having to take them off on every chair to clear them is a time consuming hassle. Luckily there are a few tricks to keeping your goggles clear all day long.

  1. Make sure you always clean off your goggles with a soft microfiber cloth. Never wipe the lenses with your glove or even a napkin. These types of materials can permanently scratch the lens.

  1. Don’t wear your goggles on the top of your head. People often sweat the most from their forehead. These high amounts of perspiration will quickly exhaust the factory installed anti-fog treatment.

  1. If you fall and snow gets into your goggles dry them out as best as you can as soon as possible. Just like the extra perspiration and liquids inside the goggles will prematurely exhaust the anti-fog treatment.

  1. When you finish skiing for the day make sure to completely dry off your goggles before storing them. It is best to store goggles in the bag they came with to avoid scratches. If your goggles did not come with a bag an old sock works well.

Besides these tips we also sell anti-fog solution here at Helm of Sun Valley. Hopefully, you found these tips helpful. If you have any comments, questions or your own suggestions, please leave them down in the comments section below.  We'd love to hear from you.
